Tucked in the Northeast Georgia Mountains, Blairsville is known for its friendly people, as well as its 106 miles of beloved Lake Nottely shoreline. Winding roads will take you to outdoor adventures, delicious local fare, nights by the fire and dark skies flooded with Astronomical wonders. The Appalachian Trail runs 80 miles through the Chattahoochee National Forest and is the only section of the 2,175 mile long Trail that will take you through a man-made building, the Walasi-Yi Center. This center is used as a hostel & outfitters for hikers. Blairsville is 20 minutes from Murphy NC and Blue Ridge and anywhere you go, you can find an outdoor activity. This is a wonderful place to call home or have your second home.
